Water Balance Components of Sub-Mediterranean Downy Oak Landscapes of Southeastern Crimea

This article discusses the processes of moisture intake, redistribution, and consumption within downy oak forest community, along with their interannual interseasonal water balance dynamics. The study components was conducted using a combination field research methods geoinformation modeling on territory Karadag landscape ecological station Nature Reserve for period from 2010 to 2020. forests located at furthest extent range represents an important problem, whose solution will further scientific understanding by uncovering individual patterns internal organization such systems. indicators having most tangible impact are amount precipitation evapotranspiration. average annual analyzed 448 mm; in recent years, decrease has been recorded. evapotranspiration values approximately coincide this indicator Mediterranean region 450 mm per year. influence stemflow relief features redistribution is described. components’ dynamics form conditions conducive displacement steppe communities species.
